Drake “One Dance” Aubrey Drake Graham, better known by his stage name Drake, is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor. Drake initially gained recognition as an actor on the teen drama television series Degrassi: The Next Generation in the early 2000s. Intent on pursuing a career as a rapper, he departed the series in 2007 following the release of his debut mixtape Room for Improvement. He released two further independent projects, Comeback Season and So Far Gone, before signing to Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment in 2009. Drake’s first studio album Thank Me Later debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart in 2010.
His second album Take Care was released in November 2011 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart as well. It also earned Drake his first Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. His third album Nothing Was the Same was released in September 2013 and debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart. In 2015, Drake released two mixtapes—If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late and What a Time to Be Alive—both of which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.

She released her debut album Songs in A Minor in 2001, which sold over 12 million copies worldwide and earned her five Grammy Awards.
