United: Shakira BZRP music sessions #53, It is breaking records in world audience reproductions and debates on this musical theme. Hey everyone! This is the 53rd music session and in this one, we will be discussing Shakira’s BZRP. This session will be moderated by me, Marjorie. To start off, let’s discuss what BZRP is. BZRP is an acronym for “Boys Zimmerman Record Project”. This project was created by Shakira and her brother, Alberto “Alfonso” Zimmerman, as a tribute to their late father, William M. “Bill” Zimmerman. The album was recorded in 2002 and 2003 in Los Angeles, and it was mainly produced by Shakira and her brother. Now that we know what BZRP is, let’s talk about the songs on the album. The album consists of 10 tracks, which are all sung in English.
The tracks are: 1) “Objection (Tango)”, 2) “Underneath Your Clothes”, 3) “Wherever”, 4) “Te Dejo Madrid”, 5) “The One”, 6) “Ready for the Good Times”. 7) “Fool”, 8) “Poem to a Horse”, 9) “Que Me Quedes Tú”, and 10) “Broken Record”. Now that we’ve talked about the songs on the album, let’s discuss our thoughts on them. Overall, I think the album is really good. I especially love the tracks “Objection (Tango)”, “Underneath Your Clothes”, “The One”, and “Ready for the Good Times”. I also really like the track “Que Me Quedes Tú”.
